Chuchotage

Often used in combination with consecutive interpreting, chuchotage consists of the interpreter whispering the translation to a maximum number of 3-4 people.

This requires good quality of sound in the room and it is important that the interpreter be positioned in such a way as not to disturb other participants at the meeting.
